Earlier this month the FCC released a NPRN for allocation of new frequency
bands for amateur radio service.

The proposals are to:

1) allow use of 135.7 to 137.8 kHz on a secondary basis shared with maritime
mobile
What can you do with 2.1 kHz of spectrum with 100 kHz bandwidth signals and
limited to 1 watt ERP (100 W TPO)? Lots of CW experiments or remote control
or beacons?

2) allow use of 5250 to 5400 kHz on secondary basis with mobile
With 150 kHz of spectrum, this should be a great band for DX.

3) upgrade 2400 to 2402 MHz to primary status for amateur satellite service.
