The presentation I made at Dayton 2002, on Emergency Communications
Reasons for an amateur radio antenna support structure, is now available
at www.antennazoning.com.

If you believe that it will be difficult to convince a local zoning board
that HF communications is a good reason for a tall antenna support
structure, or if you believe that it will be easier to use local
emergency communications as the reason, or if you wish to combine the
two, the presentation might interest you. It contains citations to
relevant federal law. It also contains a novel way of showing need for
height, based on and presentation of the terrain between your place and a
local Civil Defense center/repeater or whatever.

You'll be reading the presentation without the commentary, jokes and
colorful language, but it may still be helpful.
