    The rotator shelf for the Trylon will be three feet below the top; 
allowing a foot for the rotator, there'll be two feet of mast in the tower 
and about eight feet sticking out. That's plenty of mast for another antenna.

    You can mount the 2M antenna just about anywhere above the tribander you 
want - I don't think the tribander will 'see' the little antenna. While 
Mosleys are notorious for not allowing any antennas nearby, I don't know of 
any similar problems with any other antenna so mount the 2M where you can. In 
this case, it might be a practical spacing problem - how high are you willing 
to stand on the tower and push up and tighten the 2M antenna?

    The only insulated antenna 2M application I've ever seen was for a 
VHF/UHF satellite installation. I don't know of any reason why the 2M would 
have to insulated. What does the manufacturer say?
