You forgot the only real advantage of a 2 elements quad over a 2 elements
yagi, a better F/B.
All the rest about gain, efficiency and take off angle is a pure mith, just
like when an antenna manufacturer lies claiming over 14dB F/B with a 2
elements yagi.
