Hi Dennis et al.

One way to make the pulleys last longer is to lubricate them
frequently (especially here on the Pacific coast).  I found a
great way is to put oil in a baggie and tie it to the rope and
pull it through the pulley.  The baggie busts and oil covers the
pulley.  Just don't stand right under it :-)  73
