I'm not sure about others But....
My QSL's I got from Wimpy were plain black lettering on a white
background I'm trying to remember but I think they were 49.00 or
something like that. For my radio printing I use a HP LaserJet 6L I
bought this on Ebay for $65.00. A Brand new Toner cartridge for this
printer costs $48.00 at Staples (bought one last week). The life span
of the cartridge is 2700 sheets of full text. If I use DXKeeper to
print out cards that are 4 to a sheet 4x2700= 10,800 cards since cards
do not equal a full sheet of text I could easily get 3000 pages out of
the cartridge which would be 12,000 cards.
Breakdown
48.00 -Cartridge
9.75 - 250 sheets of Card Stock (1000 QSL's)
-----
57.75 Total with very little of the toner being used

Looks very economical to me....
