    Okay - maybe I was a little harsh. I'm not trying to discourage any 
growth in the information we collect and share but the FIRST thing you 
should've done is to write me privately and ASK me if it would be okay. 
Either I would have suggested making a general announcement asking for 
private responses without starting an unrelated thread or asked you to please 
not post it and suggested other ways to go. 

    Yes, I saw the references to a couple of urls in your post but it looked 
to me like you wanted to start a thread on the topic which is what I'm trying 
to discourage.  

    This IS the internet - there are LOTS of ways to accomplish what you're 
after without incurring the wrath of the administrator.
