Hello to everyone on the list! 

I just completed my foundation for the installation of a new UST HDX-555 tower and had a question on the dimensions and/or clearances of the re-bar cage to the top of the concrete pad that will sit above the grade. My question is that of how much clearance should I have from the top of the cage to the top of the concrete pad that will be formed above the grade? My installation has it set now at approximately 2" and there wasn't a spec on the drawings I received from UST. The total height of the pad above the ground is approximaely 7.5". I am worried that when I start pouring the concrete, I don't want the cage to lift out and "pop" out the top of the pad. I read a few web pages a few months back about just that type of thing happening and wanted to get further clarification before pouring the foundation.
