[TowerTalk] Full Wave Loop - Elbows vs Sweeps

Dave,

Byron is looking for a simple way to avoid SHARP 90 degree bends in his
full-wave loop, while allowing the wire at the corners to slide back and
forth as weather conditions demand.   I've found that the only device that
will fit these requirements is a sweep...  I've got four of them on a
full-wave 160 meter loop...  This method also allows me to MOVE the
feed-point along one side of the loop by sliding the entire loop through the
sweeps, thus the ability to convert a 'corner-fed' loop to a
'center-of-one-side-fed' loop.     A 90 degree elbow will not allow this
degree of movement, along with less stress at the corners.   My junk box has
the scraps of PVC fittings that didn't work...  The trash barrel has the
fittings that broke due to sunlight, and severe stress at the corners
(WINTER - ICE - WIND)...
