[TowerTalk] AlfaSpid rotator at Dayton - booth 195

Hi Dan,
I have the US Tower TX-489 and it has the T2X Rotor in the first section.
You have to turn the rotor in a specific direction before it will be able to
retract into the second section but it will. You can not turn the unit when
in the down position but would need to raise it enough so the rotor shelf
clear the top of the second shelf. This tower is about 14 years old and am
not sure if they have changed anything in the new ones.

well my TX-472 will arrive on Sunday.... so am in the
market for a new rotor since my T2X wont fit the
tower... does anyone have any experience with these
AlfaSpid rotors?? more specifically will it fit in my
tower ?? the load will be a Pro-57B and a small 2m
antenna...
