[TowerTalk] Hy-Gain quality since MFJ took control?

My dad had a Hy-Tower back in the mid 60's. Was a good antenna. Their one big weakness were the base insulators. Several times they broke during high winds and toppled the tower. Fortunately the tower was never damaged. Those insulators, if memory serves, were molded nylon.
