Good advice from K6LL and K0TO. If push comes to shove, I developed a
process that enabled me to remove both driven elements on my KT34XA without
taking the antenna off the tower. I used the overhead trusses to take weight
off the boom as I moved it through the saddles to get the driven elements
close enough to be removed. Used the process a couple dozen times before
success in fixing the durn thing. I don't know if you could apply the same
process to the 5 el 20, but if you're interested in more detail let me know.
