Plumb bob is a very good suggestion. Also a water level would be cheap and very accurate, you can HB one very easy. I have also seen some laser devices for around 40 bucks at Home Depot that would do the trick. You could look at a rental center they might have laser devices for rent. mike K8ZE k8ze at charter.net
