The system has been fully built for several years now. I was the QA 
consultant for the microwave portion of the project, a 182 tower, $185M 800 Mhz digital 
trunked radio system for the State. If I recall the last tower was built in 
2000 in the UP. 

I finished my work on the project in June 2002 and moved to AZ in Sept 2002. 
I guess I got the heck out of MI before this bird nonsense started. Good thing 
I did. What a waste of money that kind of study will be.
