[TowerTalk] Greasing a Roller in a Tuner?

I acquired a big homebrew HF tuner that uses
massive construction.  Nice!

I am getting some metal-on-metal squeal from the
roller.

I have access to white lithium, graphite, WD-40,
silicon spray, any one more preferred or to be
avoided?
