Well, yes.... but more effort should have been made to encourage the
local newspapers to report also the amateur radio side of the issue. As
written, both newspaper articles are negative and do nothing to improve
the perception of amateur radio.

Perhaps it is possible to contact the newspapers with additional
information in an attempt to get more balanced articles written.

Finally, the "We'll be baaaack!" comment is like throwing oil on the
fire and won't help amateur radio if it is picked up by the newspapers.

Winning a battle is not winning a war...
