I'm no expert but I'd be leery about a nonconductive tower.  Polyphaser specifically recommends against them; probably because of the large potential difference between aluminum at the top of the tower and the ground and the inability of the system to bleed off static buildup. Just check out this aspect if you're considering this type of system.  Phil  KB9CRY
