A similar question was asked here a few years ago regarding tuning a
tribander close to ground. The concensus of opinion and experience, I
believe, was that the resonant freq would increase as the antenna were
raised above ground.

Which way should the resonant frequency go as the height above ground is
increased for a 40 meter rotatable linear loaded diopole. If the swr is 2.0
to 1 at 7200 with the length set for 7200 10 feet above ground will the
resonant frequency go up or down as the antenna height is increased to 78
feet or will it stay at 7200 with just a lower swr. thanks for any help.
