try "monochrome" video cameras  B&W->Black and White; not a brand name..

All the usual surplus places seem to carry them in some form or another...
color too.. (http://www.allcorp.com/ would be one source (which happens to
be a close drive for me, but may or may not be any better or worse than
anyone else price/capability wise)
