Terry, SWR metering circuits are indeed frequency dependent.  Anything that
gives accurate result at HF or low VHF will likely be completely useless at
2.4 GHz.  That's one reason why the Bird Corporation makes so many different
slugs to cover varying power levels and frequency ranges.
