Hi all concerned:
I strapped a 2A-H gel cell in its pouch, from randl.com, to the back of it.
GC has cig-liter socket and wallwart charger.  Gave internal batt holders a
good throwing away ;o)

Has anyone modified the battery holder for this model.  I'm faced with
replacing both holders which have the tops broken. I hope there are some
neat ways to SNIP
