www.surplusrecord.com try this one.they had old Mil type that would do what
you want.

Two places I'd try are the RV dealers and boat yards.  Another might be a
farm supply store.
Although the boat and RV winches have a much larger cable than needed it
could be replaced with a longer and smaller one.

At least these are a few places to start.
