[TowerTalk] MonstIR Rotor/tower/polyrod question

Based on my experience with a shorty forty at 104 feet, I suggest polyrod. In my original installation, I had 21-foot fiberglass insulators from the 95 foot point on the tower outward on my top guys, which were grounded steel beyond that. My 40m yagi was a real disappointment until I replaced the top guys with Phillystran. Even though conventional wisdom was that the steel guys were far enough away, they made a big difference.
