Aramid does not stretch.  I have never noticed fiberglass to stretch either,
except perhaps when I am cornering at the limit in my Corvette. :)

What's the stretchy-ness of Polyrod vs aramid (Phillystran, Kevlar, etc.) vs
steel?  That has an effect on the overall performance.
