may be off topic, but I figured out how to do this...and I'm bragging.
retired Firefighter so flame away, I can take it.

And these are cheapo cameras.
The outside one is wrapped in a very expensive enclosure, a half sheet of wife's Camera 
Quality Saran Wrap.
