Purchased a TX-472MDP, which included the MDP-750, an RMC-1000 Remote Control, a MCL-100 Limit Switch Control in September 1998. Up until the last few days, the US Towers equipment has operated flawlessly.

Prior to a monsoon hitting the area (Chino Valley, AZ), used the RMC-1000 to lower the tower, and the fuse blew in the Remote Control box. Discovered a couple of problems, 1) the DOWN relay (Omron G7J-4A-B) is defective and am waiting for replacement and 2) ground wire between the Relay box on the tower and the RMC-1000 is disconnected, the fuse stops blowing.

Disconnecting ground in the RMC-1000 and leaving ground wire attached in Relay Box, fuses continues to blow. Disconnected the cable between RMC-1000 and Relay Box and attached the RMC-1000 to Relay Box at the tower. Fuse still blows when ground wire is connected.

The Relay Box mounted on the tower and the RMC-1000 Remote Control boxes are very simple, however, US Towers does not have schematics.

1st. Any one have schematic I can have (purchase).

2nd. Has anyone have experienced the blowing of the RMC-1000 fuse and when disconnecting the wire in the Relay Box (only) the fuse does not blow. Cable, between Relay Box and RMC-1000 checks out A-OK - - - no short or high resistance short between any of the wires
