[TowerTalk] Birds on the antenna

I use an owl that has a head that swivels in the wind. Kind of treats all
directions equally (politically correct).
The real trick is to have whatever you use, get moved or repositioned often
as the birds start to ignore stationary items. The swivel head seems to do
well without relocating the owl.

Andy

Most of the time whacking the tower with a hammer scares the uh, crap out
of
them and they take off. Sometimes they return, sometimes they don't.
Repeat
as needed.

I have also heard putting a plastic owl facing true north works (sorry
gang,
couldn't resist)!
