That's too bad and I can emphathize as my profession was computer science
before I retired. Unfortunately having a program cracked just goes with the
territory of programming. Only when the programs become huge or very
specalized are the crackers likely to find it "not worth the effort".
Disassemblers are relatively easy to write and decompilers are even easier
as there are fewer commands. We had to write working compilers in college
and that was at the undergrad level. The last half of the class was 500
level though.
