[TowerTalk] 2003 Accord antenna mount

TT:  

Contemplating going mobile again.  Wonder if anyone has
used a Diamond d-400 mount on a Honda Accord trunk lid?
The gap looks too small, although I haven't measured it.

Anyone had experience with a hidden-hitch antenna mount?
Especially with establishing a good ground connection 
to the Accord unibody?  

I was contemplating cleaning out the bolt holes where
the hitch frame bolts to the car frame...then making a strap
connection between hitch and receiver. 

Thoughts?
