Jim,
That stolen kitchen plastic wrap, don't use it as a
cond.....replacement, even for a couple of minutes. Afraid you won't get
the expected results.

On the way out the door steal your wife's plastic wrap out of the
kitchen. You will still have something to wad up and pocket during tear
down but a few pieces of plastic don't add much bulk. This is cheep and
every kitchen has some.
