The further the better. However, I have a 65 footer with a KT34XA on it about 80 feet from my 200 foot 40 meter tower. I don't really think there is any minimum distance, as far as interaction goes. I have my 10 and 20 meter beams vertically spaced around 10-15 feet and have no interaction when I listen on either band in SO2R. Bill
