I am presently using the RD-1800 to turn a 5 element 20, 3 element 10, and a 2 element 40. My TX2 was used before but went SOUTH permanently during a tornado.

The past week we had temperatures ranging for -26 to -5 F with high winds and the rotor never skipped a beat. It was a little slower at times because of wind direction but not as bad as
the TX2 in similar conditions in the past.

The CATS rotor is a direct replacement for the TX2. I also got the interface to use the TX2 control box.
