Interesting price increase.  I got this quote last September:

6 pin controller plug, Part# P1091056, for $ 1.58.
Pins for 6 pin (6set), Part# S8101130, for $ 1.17.
Plus shipping.

Thanks to all who responded to my email. It appears either one has to order
a connector from Yaesu or replace the connector on the control box with
something like a Molex connector. The cost from Yaesu appears to be about
$13 US for the connector and pins.
