[TowerTalk] Estimate of guyed tower totals in USA

I am trying to estimate the total number of guyed towers in the USA used
for wireless communications. I have some familiarity with the FCC and
FAA websites, and I know that not all guyed towers require registration.
Has anyone done this task already, or have some idea of how to get this
data from government sources or technical publications/websites?
