[TowerTalk] Need help stringing a half-sqare over trees

I've managed to place ropes in two tall trees (~75') about 150 feet
apart. I want to string a half square on pulleys between these
trees, with a horizontal wire between the trees and then a vertical
wire dropping at either end. The lot is very heavily wooded, so the
area between the trees is filled with other trees that are 10'-40'
tall.
My problem is this - how do I get the vertical wires out across the
middle and drop them. There is absolutely no access from the between
the trees -- it is so heavily wooded that I can't even see the sun.
The only access is a clearing at the base of one tree (it took a
slingshot made of surgical tubing and 2x4's to get the ropes up, but
that's another story). Cutting the trees is not an option.
Currently, the situation looks like this (the X's are trees, the
other lines are ropes).
- ---------
/X\ / X\
/ X | -------- X \
/ X | / X \
/ X | ---- X X |
/ XX | | X X X X X |
| XX | | X X XX X X X X |
| X XXX | | XX X XX XX X X X X |
|XX XXX | | XXXXX XXX XXXXX X XXXX |
|XXXXXX | |XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX |
^ ^
tree1^ tree2^
And I want to end up with this (I'm omitting most of the trees here).
(Again, the X's are trees and the lines are ropes. Also, the O's are
pulleys and the h's are half-sqare wires.)
/===O/--hhhhhhhhhhhhhh----\O===\
/X / h h \ X\
/ X | h h | X \
/ X | h h | X \
/ X | h h | X |
/ X | h h | X |
| X | h h | X |
| X | h h | X |
| X | h h | X |
| X | h h | X |
| X | h h | X |
Any ideas on how I can carry the vertical wires into position over
the lower trees and then get them dropped down vertically?
