[TowerTalk] Remote control

A switch like this would typically need several ma of current to activate.
For this reason I would not use RF. I do not think it is practical. Use a
trap instead.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Remote control

Hello all,

I'm thinking about an inline switch in an antenna wire. E.g. to press a 40m
dipole into service on 20m. Like a trap, but hopefully with less loss. What
would be your suggestion: use DC (how?), RF, infrared? Any ideas? Does a
commercial product exist that does what I want?

TIA,

Frank PA4N
