[TowerTalk] Lube of a crank-up tower question

Okay, I'll bite. I have had a crank-up tower for almost 30 years and never
greased the rails. I never thought it was necessary. Would it be wrong to
do so? Probably not.

To answer this inquiry, probably using Steve's (K7LXC) prime directive is
the best answer: "Do what the manufacturer says" ( or doesn't say). Call
the manufacturer and ask them.

Good luck!
