[TowerTalk] ROTATOR ADVICE

I have a C-4XL (regular model, not D) up at 152 feet. It is rotated by a
Yaesu G1000DXA. It has survived 80+ MPH winds with no problem. A larger
rotator is really overkill unless you have to deal with 100+ MPH winds on a
regular basis.

I like your choice of the M2 Orion over the others. I am planning to put up
a F12 Sigma 80 Ultra and will use it for rotation.

Subject: [TowerTalk] ROTATOR ADVICE

To All,

I am starting to assemble and optimize a Force-12 C4XLD and eventually place
it on the tower. I am finally ready to upgrade my rotator from a T2X to an
Orion OR-2800PDC (I had considered the Pro Sistel PST61D and the Alfa Spid
but ruled them out due to physical fit). I know that it will fit my Hy-Gain
HG54-HD tower without modifications but was wondering if there is anything I
should know before I mount it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Semper Fi,

Tommy - K6YE
