I'm thinking of installing a Hy-gain 18avq trap vertical on top of a 50' tower. My question is should the base of the vertical where my four radials sloping down at 45 degree
angle terminate be also connected to tower. Maybe a better way of saying it should the tower be part of the groundplane system?
