Somehow, around this time of year, we always get 
threads which tend to devolve...it's a pre-Dayton
phenomenon.  Or maybe cabin fever.

Today's "porcupines on the Tour Eiffel" comment triggered
a recollection of my NJ tower wars.  My zoning board
agreed that the Eiffel tower didn't represent an eyesore.

I observed that I'd counted 138 antennas on top, when I
was last there.  That's without porcupines.  They were
un-moved.  

My assumption would be that the porcupines pre-date the
knowledge that they do no good.
