Kelly,
I got several responses re: K4SB.
I did not know I was a "thief" either!
:-)
Needless to say, I'm embarassed by this, but can easily resolve it ASAP.

Thanks!

Hi Folks! I'm looking for the Rohn TB-3 or TB-4 thrust bearings or any
other flange type up to 4 inches. If you have one that can't be
mounted out in the weather, we can think about it, as I am..... *
obvious type on "can't be mounted outside )

I regret having to post this message, but perhaps it will take a
little of the sting out of it for me, and hopefully prevent others
from being "taken for a ride".

I responded to this post, we agreed on a price, and the 2 TBs I had
were shipped by UPS on April 27 and received by W2TTT on 2 May. (UPS
Tracking Nr. 1Z9V84710302542728 )

In spite of repeated requests for payment, he has come up with one
excuse after another.

"Had to go on a Scouting trip" ( 4 days AFTER he received the package
)
"Been too busy to write a check" ( Just how long does it take to write
a check )
"Check will be in the mail not later than this weekend ) .....(10 days
ago)

He has not responded to my last email requesting payment or a return
at my expense of the 2 TBs.

I suppose getting bitten 2 times in almost 50 years ( July 10th, 2005
) is not such a bad record. But believe me, I will have payment in
hand before I ship anything in the future. ( there will be exceptions
to that for quite a large number of hams who I respect. )

This person is a THIEF! Pure and simple. And a member of this
reflector.

Can't remember the Latin for it, but "SELLER BEWARE"!!

And I deeply regret the nature of this post.

Ed
