I never said the pattern changed but one can be pretty sure something is 
going on, and probably it is not beneficial to antenna system.  In my case, when 
SWR changes it is pretty important, since the antennas lower down on the tower 
also rotate.  I can't have SWR bouncing all over the place as I rotate the 
antenna since I don't have time to constantly retune if I switch the beam heading 
during a contest.  There are too many other things to worry about in a 
contest.
