[TowerTalk] Joining Rohn 25g sections

Looking for way to attach new section of Rohn 25g to a section that has been cut off just above concrete base. Since the tampered (swaged) end has been cut off at the base the new section will not attach in the conventional manner. Ideas here include using commercial fiberglass tower insulators, having steel look- a -likes made, or even the possibility of turning the sections upside down and welded once inserted. Not sure what effect of having the larger bolt on the topside would have. The tower completed would be 40' and properly guyed. Any ideas? Thanks, Floyd
