Barry,

I (along with Scott Neader, KA9FOX, and Murray, WA6USL) have the C4XLD and it really does the job. It is a nine element (two on 40) yagi on a two inch boom. If you are both a CW and Phone buff, get the optional 40 meter relay box and you will be able to cover all of 40 with a 1:1 SWR.

  Wayne,
I am also in the research phase of acquiring a new antenna and 10 - 40
meters on one boom was one of my requirements. Force 12 makes 3 different
  beams that fit.

                          Wind Turn
Model Boom Wgt Load Rad Price
  C4S 12 33 5.9 19.4 759
  C4SXL 23 48 8.0 21.8 1079
  C4XL 35 65 8.2 23.8? 1,249

You can check them out at: http://force12inc.com/<http://force12inc.com/>

I have no first-hand experience with these, but am sure others on the list
  do.

  Good luck,
  Barry - W1HFN
