Scott

I know there is interest out her for a "GOOD" rotor. Some stil like to buildit themselves. After years I finally got a prop pitch up and going, my HyGain Model 400 ROTOBRAKE was getting a bit tired.

Curious to what antenna(s) you are rotating? Some have rather large antennas to turn so a benchmark as to what it can handle would be nice. Maybe it could handle 52ft boom 5el 20M yagi that weighs in at 170lbs plus a 2el 40M Cushcraft? And that is not as big as many.

I remember a HamRadio write up years ago by a VE using worm gear also.

Idea of GREEN HERON control box sounds interesting. I am beginning to look at one now (got some nice 28VDC 18A regulated supplies for prop pitch use, that became available after I got the M2 control box.) This for prop pitch.

Put me on your interest list.
