Ben Franklin, He first tried to get lightning to strike a key, hung off the
end of his wooden dipole.  He was forced to raise it up higher and thus
invented the crank-up.  Henry Ford liked that idea so much he gave away a
crank with every car he sold.  Not to be outdone, the other members of the
Big Three included seats.  - Mike
