[TowerTalk] GOOD DEAL ON A MY-TE WINCH IN ILLINOIS

Excellent!!!
Back just in time for Christmas: WENCHES!
You can use the wench to tighten the bolts and the nuts on the other
wenches' capstans.

Winches and wrenches are less fun than wenches, but for some, more
practical.
:-)
Merry Christmas!

It might be tough to use that as a capstan wench. A capstan wench uses 2 to

4 turns of rope. The capstan has a machined in a surface that allows the
rope to constantly slip so its in the center of the capstan. So the rope
self-centers on the small part of the capstan. Using the eBay drum winch,
the rope will most likely roll over to one edge and then it will wrap up on
top of itself and be very hard to deal with.
