[TowerTalk] Locating Buried Feedline

Take a 3 foot piece of RG-8 coax, strip off 8" of the black vinyl cover and 
then pull the center through the braid as though you were getting ready to 
hardwire a yagi or dipole.  Tape both sides with White tape(adhesive or 
anything white), and split the ends on a 30 degree angle.  Now hold the 
single end of the "still" black covered coax and mildly shake it with the 
taped end about 3 inches off the ground and just follow it until it dips 
toward the ground.  Your coax will be beneath it..  It is a COAXIAL DIVINING 
ROD".  Good luck.
