    Can you stack a Rohn 45G section on a 55G  or do you need some sort of 
adapter? I've never tried it. Tnx!

I seem to remember that the "Old" Rohn used to make an adapter section to do just that.  I think it had a slight taper on one end to go from the 55 to the 45G spacing. There might be one floating around out there.
