[TowerTalk] Elevated Guys ??

Used elevated anchors on two legs at our former QTH.

On one I used a tall propane tank with the top sawed
off (Be careful doing that!) set in a 3' x 3' x 5'
hole filled with concrete.

Inside the tank I poured concrete and set a big
tower anchor in that up close to the ring.

On the other I used a 12" cardboard footing tube
and set it on top of a square hole filled with
concrete and steel and set another large tower
anchor into the mix with concrete poured up to
near the ring.

Everything was tilted away from the tower.

The forces necessary to move either of them would
likely have ripped the roof off the house!
